Once again Anna Scott Graham received the REALITY Blog Award and she has passed it on.  The requirements for this blog is as follows:

reality-award1

Here are the rules for The Reality Award

1. Show appreciation of the blogger who nominated you and link back to them in your post.

2. Add the award logo to your blog.

3. Share 7 things about yourself.

4. Nominate 5 – 10 or so bloggers you admire.

5. Contact your chosen bloggers to let them know.

Number one is easy…..As I have said before I love to blog. I get up early in the morning and the first thing I do is go through my email and read any new posts written by the bloggers I follow. I always get excited to see when Anna is posted. She is real, she is engaging and I feel as if I know her. I think I may start The Bloggers I want to Meet Award and she would be first on my list.

2) Done in my post and on my sidebar

3) I have to share 7 things about myself…..okay here goes

a) My husband and I have started a new trend in our household….new to us at any rate….we have only been renting foreign films. At first I was a little skeptical because I remember my uncle Eric taking me to foreign films and me just thinking “This is just soooo out there….I cannot relate to this….what was the story or main reason I just lost 2 hours of my life?” I always gave Eric a hard time but now I wonder if he planted a seed so long ago that need time to grow. I wonder if I saw those same films today would I love them as much as I have loved the last few foreign films I have seen?

b) I have always been a Rottweiler person. If gotten young, from good parents and trained religiously they are truly the PERFECT dog. I have had two and they were such a joy to me. I don’t believe i have ever loved any of my other dogs quite to the degree as I loved my Rottweilers…..that is until Rainy walked into my life. Now (I cannot believe I am saying this) I can’t imagine my life without a Weimaraner in it). Rainy is absolutely perfect. Even in her stubbornness and how spoiled she is she is so intelligent, loving, spirited and she has the most wonderful sense of humor!!! I hope one day I can get a Weimaraner puppy!! That would just be too fun!!

c) I love fresh flowers in my house. There is something about fresh flowers that brings such sunshine and LIFE into a home especially when the temperatures haven’t reached beyond 30 degrees for weeks. My dream one day is to have a “fresh cut” garden where I have enough flowers growing just willy nilly (in no particular design or order) where I can go in with my garden clippers and just cut my own from spring until fall. That is actually something I am going to work on this year.

d) My dream since I was old enough to have dreams was to have my horse in my back yard and Ron is actually making that dream come true for me at the age of 46. It just shows that patience is a gift. It prepares you for the long wait to see your dreams come true. Within a few months my Rosie  ( Missouri Fox Trotter) will be right on my property with a lovely new house which will contain two stalls, a hay storage area and a tack room. The reason I am getting a two stall “horse house” is horses need to be with another horse because they are herd animals and also if I board to someone that will pay for my hay costs and maybe provide me with a riding buddy….there is always a method to my madness….

e) I got a tooth pulled yesterday and as I write this I am wondering if I have ever had any dental work done that hurts as much as what this does. I would cry but that would make it hurt more….if that is possible. I am absolutely floored at the magnitude of pain I am experiencing. And here is the fun part….I have a job interview this morning AND I am getting my driver license today which also baffles me….why would I strap myself to a picture for the next 5 years that shows I just had a tooth pulled on the Right side? Of course I will scan it and share it with you all tomorrow because this is just too silly.

f) I highly recommend the book “The Anatomy of Peace”. It changed how I have viewed the world and my place within it and I just think if everyone on this planet was exposed to this book the world would be a much better place for my grand babies to live in. This is my attempt at pushing for World Peace!!!

g) Like Anna I too love music. It is so cathartic to me and sometimes works better at calming my anxiety or when I am sad or happy or cleaning the house. I have been to many, many concerts and my taste is music includes a wide amount of genres. I especially love Sheryl Crow, Def leppard, The Beatles, and ….well they are too numerous to mention here. My husband has even promised to take me to a Yanni concert which I think would be just awesome. I love hearing the words, like poetry set to music, and I love when the music is like a huge production. I loved, for example, when I went to see Rush and they had filled the stage with coin operated washer and dryers. Throughout the concert I would notice the stage crew coming out upon occasion with coins and they would would put them in the appliances, start them then casually walk off stage as if they were at a laundry mat.
